It is Studium Generale’s task to promote the societal, intellectual and cultural development of students at Eindhoven University of Technology. In collaboration with students, Studium Generale organizes lectures, discussions, concerts, exhibitions, excursions, theatre and film shows and workshops for students. I worked at the box office of Filmhuis De Zwarte Doos for a year.

At Filmhuis De Zwarte Doos, films are screened from all continents. The movies are chosen by a film committee consisting of students, which I had been part of for a longer time. I was in charge of selling movie tickets and general responsibilities for the cinema where the film viewings took place such as keeping the posters and the trailer reels up-to-date.
